Jo Daviess Could Get Two Huge Dairy Facilities

Bos’ California dairies has proposed two 6,850 head dairy farms.

Two new dairy facilities have been proposed for Jo Daviess County, and would be located one mile west of Nora. A.J. Bos, Bakersfield, Cal., has proposed building the two 6,850-head facilities, under the name Tradition Family Dairies. Bos’ California dairies are known as Bos Maple Dairy.

Bos, along with Nic Anderson of the Illinois Livestock Business Development Group and a Peoria-based engineering firm representative, recently held a meeting in the Nora area for local residents.
