Last weekend, Mystik Dan, made Kentucky Derby History by winning the roses. The lights not only shined brightly on the agriculture industry in the bluegrass state.

The Kentucky Derby brings $400 million to the area.

More than 30,000 horse farms are in the state.

A study found 210,000 horses in the state with Thoroughbreds being the most common.

The University of Louisville claims to be the only horse in the world with an equine business degree and the goal is to involve everyone in the industry which drives Kentucky agriculture.
