Part 1

Max Armstrong and Mike Pearson kick off the show with a look at the latest rulings on Waters of the United States regulations in courts and legislation in progress. We also get a reminder to fill out your ag census. Mike talks markets with Cesar Cruz and Brian Basting with Advance Trading, starting with a look at big problems in the wheat market. Next a look at corn in Brazil, Cruz’ area of specialty.

Part 2

Cesar Cruz and Brian Basting with Advance Trading return to discuss Argentina’s crop which looks to be troubled again. Next they look at what producers are going to be planting this year. In the Colby Ag Tech segment Chad Colby is looking to the skies at the latest launch from SpaceX and what it means for farmers and the availability of StarLink.

Part 3

Max introduces the Ag States of America, this time out, host Charlie Behrens profiles Pennsylvania. The Keystone State is known for their high quality dairy and livestock. It’s also home to the Mushroom Capital of the World. Pennsylvania also has a strong heritage of farmland preservation.

Part 4

Max talks about the Half Century of Progress farm heritage equipment show just before interviewing Brian Neukomm, who help organize the show, to talk energy supplies in the U.S. and what it looks like for this summer and fall. Agricultural Meteorologist Greg Soulje looks at the weather for the week ahead.

Part 6

In Max’s Tractor Shed, Max introduces a 1954 John Deere 60. Owned by the original owner’s son, Barry Nieuwenhuis, who brought it back to life as a way to remember and honor their hard-working father. In the FFA Chapter Tribute segment, Mike talks with Mary Jones, Indiana State FFA Northern Region VP, who he catches her on the road getting ready for their state convention. Her father was her FFA advisor so it’s been a family affair for the Jones family, and they are spreading it around by bringing in lots of new FFA members.

Part 7

Max and Mike talk with Todd and Nancy Whalen of KDHN in Dimmit, Texas where they discuss the recent massive dairy fire in that area.
