The Missouri Cattlemen's Association announced that Executive Vice President Jeff Windett has resigned. Windett was named executive vice president in July of 2007.

"Jeff advanced the Missouri Cattlemen's Association's profile in Jefferson City, and led our response on important livestock issues," said MCA President Lonny Duckworth. "We thank him for his service and look forward to continuing to serve our more than 4700 Missouri members."

A search committee, appointed by Duckworth, will seek a candidate to replace Windett.

"The Missouri Cattlemen's Association is a vocal proponent of our state's beef producers," Duckworth said. "We work to secure passage of legislation beneficial to our industry, and we provide a key support system for local cattlemen. As we seek a candidate to replace Jeff, we are committed to finding an individual who shares our vision to expand the reach of the Missouri Cattlemen's Association for the betterment and benefit of all Missouri beef producers."
