Improved technology dominates spraying market.

Technology continues to drive what companies develop and bring onto the market in chemical handling, sprayers and spray application. It’s a trend with no end in sight.

Apace sprayers get upgrades for 2017. Now with a new owner, Equipment Technologies continues to improve features on its sprayers. They are still built in Mooresville, Ind. The newer models are equipped with some of the latest improvements in precision sprayer technology.

Enduraplas introduces a new sprayer unit for ATVs. The company also brings a new foaming attachment for ATV sprayers to the market. The demand for ATV sprayers remains steady to strong in many areas.

Tee Jet, one of the leaders in developing streamlined, precision application spray nozzles, introduces two new nozzles on the market. Each has a specific purpose, and is designed for the type of applications the company expects farmers will be making in the future.

Hypro also launches a unique system that allows the operator in the cab of a self-propelled sprayer to switch from one set of nozzles to another on the go. The company demonstrated the new idea with a spray table and water at fall farm shows. There was typically a crowd of farmers gathered around the demonstration to see exactly how the new concept worked.

The Hypro brand lineup also features a new product for mixing chemicals now. And Summers introduces a system for pre-mixing batches of chemicals so that you can fill the sprayer quickly and get back to the field faster. Its product is compartmentalized and allows you to add more mixing units as you need them.
