Traveling on the straight ’n’ narrow
Great Plains Manufacturing Inc. has unveiled a new line of narrow transport Disc-O-Vators built on the success of the current Series 8 machines but with a 10-foot transport width.
The new line also features hydraulically controlled disk gangs with a choice of turbo coulter blades or low cancavity disk blades. The front disk gangs are followed by either heavy-duty K-flex or heavy-duty Magnum shanks. The ground is finished by one of four leveler options — combinations of coil tine, spike tooth and reel assemblies.
The new machines come in 15-, 18-, 21- and 24-foot widths.
