During the annual meeting, WCGA also recognized outgoing director Jim Kruger of Westfield, for his nine years of service to the board. WCGA directors are eligible to serve up to three consecutive, three year terms.

The WCGA annual meeting was held in conjunction with the 2013 Corn/Soy Expo at the Kalahari Conference Center, Wisconsin Dells. The program included key note addresses by Farm Broadcaster Orion Samuelson, Kansas State Ag Economist Barry Flinchbaugh, Agricultural Meteorologist Elwynn Taylor, General Wesley Clark and UW Marching Band Director Mike Leckrone. Educational sessions covered crop production, farm succession planning, grain storage, sustainability, weed pest and fertility management and slides from some of these presentations are posted online at wicorn.ncgapremium.com and www.cornsoyexpo.org.
