The Internet is a great tool for getting useful information out. In the past few years, a hot topic has been the price of gasoline as deal hunters seek ways to save money. Now there's a way for folks interested in buying E85 fuel to find out a local price.

The American Lung Association of the Upper Midwest has created a Web site - E85 Price Forum - where you can look up a local price for E85. In addition, if you want to post the local price for the renewable fuel for your area you can.

One challenge for the blend of 85% ethanol with 15% gasoline is getting information out about the price. This tool allows advocates for the renewable fuel to tell that story. In the next few months as more ethanol plants come on stream, car owners will find more opportunities to use the fuel in their flexible fuel vehicles.

The auto industry has also stepped up with more flexible fuel vehicles for 2007 including a Jeep Grand Cherokee V-8 (not the Hemi) using E85 and the Hummer H3. You can see a complete list of flex fuel vehicles at www.E85Fuel.com.
