The beauty of the National FFA Convention isn't just in who competes in contests or wins awards. It's also a winner for those who come and mingle with kids from other states, who hear inspiring speakers, and who might become interested in a career because they attended the trade show geared to FFA members and teachers.
Our camera went on 'rove patrol' to see who we could find at the convention. You know who the big winners were with Indiana ties. But do you know that these people attended? You might recognize yourself or a neighbor, or maybe your ag teacher!

Ready For Fun
It didn't take much coaxing for these two young ladies from Eastern Hancock FFA to pose for the camera. Eastern Hancock's novice parliamentary procedure team that puts on practice meetings placed fourth in the national competition.

Three Guys
Here are three young FFA members from Indiana who were on their way to enjoy the convention sessions and trade show.

Play To Win
Companies have figured out how to get FFA members involved and drawn into their booth. This young man is preparing to play a racing game on an iPad for prizes.

Got Beads?
Even the thought of someone seeing them with these crazy beads on didn't stop these FFA members from letting us take their picture.

Dead-Eye Shot
This young man from North Putnam FFA takes dead aim at a virtual duck hunting game in the career fair.

Time Out
Leave it to these FFA members from Rochester to find chairs to rest in that I could never get out of!
