Irrigators now have an option to bend any drive unit up to 30 degrees with Valmont's new Bender30 option.

The low-cost, easy retro fit -- no structural changes required to existing spans -- options also comes with a tower-control box containing over-extension safeties, and monitors to ensure the unit straightens back to its original position, unlike many competing flexible designs.

In addition, Valmont has addressed the problem over overwatering when a "far" tower becomes an end pivot by reducing the "bent" span's water flow by up to 70%.

The Bender30 is available for all ball-socket pipe except for 10-inch.
