Syngenta in North America today announced that 12 new agronomic research reports are now available from Syngenta Agronomy Research in time for spring planting. Planting reports include corn population management, continuous corn management, soybean seeding rate management and a study on soybean planting dates and replant tools developed by Syngenta Agronomy Research.

"Not only do we have reports relevant to growers as they begin planting, but there are reports that provide information growers will be able to use throughout the growing season," says Bruce Battles, Syngenta Agronomy Marketing Manager and Syngenta Agronomy Research Lead.

Syngenta Agronomy Research studies and evaluates environmental and cultural practices that impact yield in both corn and soybean production to provide answers to critical issues facing growers. The trials conducted by Syngenta Agronomy Research factor field conditions into the data. Many of the trials are product specific and drill down to the hybrid level to help growers be more profitable through better product placement, better product selection and use of integrated solutions.

In 2010, the Syngenta Agronomy Research team conducted a total of 32 research trials at the 10 Syngenta Agronomy Research locations. Additional published reports include foliar corn fungicide management, corn rootworm management, grain characteristics and beef gain, hybrid selection for silage, grain end use and high pH soils, soybean aphid management, and use of CruiserMaxx Beans insecticide/fungicide seed treatments as a soybean production tool.
