Tech Helps You Keep Up With The Farm Progress Show

Technology makes your visit to the Farm Progress Show easier and more enjoyable. From seeing the show being built to planning your day, these new tools will make sure you don't miss a thing.

Show webcam
Five web cameras have been installed on the show site in Boone, Iowa. That means you can check on progress on the exhibit field as the show comes together, as well as see what's going on during actual show days. The web cams are sponsored by Slingshot brand from Raven Industries.

One camera is aimed at the main entrance so viewers can see the crowd arriving at the show. Other cameras are located at various places around the grounds for an overview of the show site. Another camera focuses specifically on the Raven exhibit. To see the web cameras, visit the Farm Progress Show website under Visitor Resources Tab, or view the cameras here.

Interactive exhibitor map
Another tool in the technology toolbox is the interactive map and exhibitor list also featured on the Farm Progress Show website. With this feature, visitors can map their day at the show in advance.

"The interactive map and list allows visitors to plan their day, schedule meetings, view events taking place, search for products and request more information from exhibitors," says Matt Jungmann, Farm Progress national events manager. "Each visitor can tailor their experience to match their interests and farming practices."

By going to the Farm Progress Show website, visitors can search companies by product categories or by company name. The interactive map will show the location of the selected company and give visitors the option to add the company to their show planner. Once visitors create a login identification and password, they can continue to save and update their show planner with companies they want to visit, meetings they want to attend and demonstrations they want to see.
