Senate Agriculture Committee Chair Tom Harkin, D-Iowa, and Ranking Member Saxby Chambliss, R-Ga., have announced subcommittee chairs, ranking members and membership positions for the 111th Congress.
The chairman of the Subcommittee on Rural Revitalization, Conservation, Forestry and Credit will be Blanche Lincoln, D-Ark.
The Subcommittee on Energy, Science and Technology will be chaired by Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich., while the Ranking Member will be John Thune, R-S.D.
The Subcommittee on Hunger, Nutrition and Family Farms will be chaired by Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio and Richard Lugar, R-Ind., will serve as Ranking Member.
The Subcommittee on Production, Income Protection and Price Support will be chaired by Robert Casey, D-Penn. The Ranking Member will be Pat Roberts, R-Kan.
The Senate Subcommittee on Domestic and Foreign Marketing, Inspection, and Plant & Animal Health will be chaired by Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y. Mike Johanns, R-Neb., will serve as Ranking Member.
