A valuable educational opportunity for seed conditioners is coming to Salina during the first week of February.
A seed cleaning school will be held February 7-8 at the Holiday Inn, 1616 W. Crawford. Sessions for seed plant managers cover topics of seed physiology, legal issues in seed cleaning, and insurance and liability. Sessions on technical aspects of seed conditioning, including pest control and equipment operation, will also be offered. Seed conditioners from a four-state area are expected to attend.
A trade show featuring seed conditioning equipment will accompany the educational sessions.
