Rhino Goes After Corn Stalks

Add-on kit designed to make flex-wing rotary cutters do double duty in the corn field.

Published on: Sep 13, 2012

Deemed the "row crop special," Rhino's Flex-Wing rotary cutters come outfitted for shredding even the toughest corn stalks. Foam filled used airplane tires set on 30-inch row spacing to create a smooth ride both in the field and on the road. For longer travel, the company also offers air-filled used airplane tires. The shredding kit comes with a baffle to eliminate windrowing of stalks.

Sold as an option on all series of cutters, the cost varies. However, the option complete with the FR240, a 20-foot flex wing, is estimated at $31,510. Call Rhino at (877) 408-3297, or visit www.servis-rhino.com
