Registration for Bi-State Crop Management Program Is Nov. 28

University of Illinois Extension and Purdue Extension are hosting the annual Bi-State Crop Management/Marketing Outlook Program Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2009 at the Beef House, located at the intersections of I-74 and IN Rt. 63 in Covington, Indiana.  The program is 9 a.m. - 2:45 p.m. Eastern Time. 

Topics include: Nitrogen Management and Other Corny Issues, Insect Issues and Soybean Production Challenges.  Bob Nielsen, Purdue Extension corn specialist will discuss the Nitrogen and corn topic.  Vince Davis, University or Illinois Extension specialist will address the Soybean topics and Christian Krupke Extension Entomologist at Purdue University will speak on the Insect Issues. The afternoon highlight is a precision ag panel, consisting of farmers, commercial applicators and university specialists.

Continuing education credits are available for Certified Crop Advisors, Indiana Commercial Pesticide Applicators and Registered Technicians and Indiana's PARP participants.  Additional fees are applicable.
