Every year some farmer takes the next step in producing a cornfield maze to celebrate the fall season. We've seen tributes to the Ohio state football team and other local organizations, However, this year's award might go to a Dayton area garden center that has slashed the features of the presidential candidates into a field.
"Evaluating issues and candidates during a presidential election year can feel like navigating a labyrinth. But, never fear! You can literally make your way through President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney's heads in a 6-acre Dayton area corn maze created from the candidates' likenesses," says a press release from Meadowview Growers a family-owned and -operated garden center.
Presidential Candidates Look Amazing
"Voting is our civic duty, and this is a great way to remind people about that freedom we have been given," says Earl Robinson, founder of Meadow View Growers, which hosts A-MAiZE-ing Fall Fun Days on weekends Sept. 21 – Oct. 28. "We hope the maze inspires people to appreciate the great American freedoms we enjoy like voting and spending beautiful Fall weekends with our families."
The computer generated maze is the centerpiece in Meadow View's A-MAiZE-ing Fall Fun Days. The event includes a mini zip line, Black Mamba swing, campfire, mini maze, hayrides, straw jump, farm animals and much more. In addition, the greenhouse is open for business selling locally grown fall plants and home décor.
