Tuesday President Obama will sign the Food Safety and Modernization Act. According to the White House, the legislation represents a critical step forward in making our nation's food supply safer by giving the Food and Drug Administration important new tools to protect our nation's food supply and keep consumers safe.
The bill was passed by Senate during the recent lame-duck session after the the House had passed a version last year.
