Excessive rain in the Stoneville, Miss., area has canceled a Pigweed Field Day for today, June 14.
There are no plans to reschedule it.
The purpose of this year's event iwas to demonstrate various programs for managing Palmer amaranth in corn, cotton and soybean fields, as well as offer a sneak peek at some of the new technologies on the horizon.
