DuPont's new Pastora herbicide receives registration for weeds in bermudagrass pasture.

Hay and beef producers have a new tool to fight problem grasses in bermudagrass pastures and hay meadows now that DuPont's Pastora herbicide has been granted a federal registration approval.

Pastora provides selective control of problem broadleaf and grass weeds with no grazing restrictions, and gives producers postemergence control of field sandbur and johnsongrass. The new control also delivers long-lasting postemergence control of common broomweed, buttercup and musk thistle. In field trials Pastora controlled more than 25 grass weeds and 100 broadleaf species.
