Iowa State Fair announces schedules for entertainment on free stages and Grandstand events.

The line-ups are out for the 2014 Iowa State Fair free stage and Grandstand performers. The free entertainment, worth more than half a million dollars, is open to all people with paid entrance to the fair.

The schedule for free entertainment is as follows:

Grandstand Entertainment
Tickets for all concert and track events are on sale through all Ticketmaster outlets, online at www.ticketmaster.com or by phone at 800-745-3000. All concert events are reserved seating, and track events are general admission. Beginning July 7, the fair's ticket office will be open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday for walk-up orders only (assuming tickets remain; no mail, phone or fax orders). Convenience charges will apply to all tickets. Grandstand tickets do not include fair admission. Gate admission must be purchased separately.

Tickets for the Iowa State Fair can be purchased ahead of time at $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 6-11. Tickets are on sale at participating Hy-Vee, Hy-Vee Drug and Fareway stores and online through www.iowastatefair.org. The State Fair Ticket Office opens July 7. At the gate, ticket costs will be $11 for adults and $5 for children ages 6-11. Children ages 5 and under will be admitted free every day of the fair.
