Sporting a compound turbocharger and the largest grain tank in the industry, New Holland's new CR9090 Twin Rotor combine is currently the largest harvester in North America.

New Holland beefs up the combine line with this Class IX machine that has set its own record for the Guiness Book of Records.

The CR9090 comes to the field with more power and a grain tank capable of holding 355 bushels, 20% more than the previous "largest combine" the CR9080, it's older brother.

The 544 horsepower diesel engine (at rated engine speed) on the CR9090 is capable of using 100% biodiesel and provides up to 591 peak hp on demand. It breathes through a compound turbocharger system that uses a second turbine downstream of the first to extract even more energy from the exhaust stream and adds 5% to the machine's fuel economy over one powered with a standard configuration engine. The machine carries 306 gallon fuel tank for long runs between fueling.

The CR9090, like it's predecessors uses a Twin Rotor design to split the crop in half as it moves through the threshing process.

To handle the increased capacity and power of the CR9000 Series, New Holland has developed a self-leveling cleaning shoe incorporating the company's Opti-Clean system for more precise and higher volume grain handling.

The CR9090 also features the IntelliCruise automatic crop feeding system that monitors crop load on the header and feeder drivelines and gives the earliest possible detections of variations of feed intake. The harvester's forward motion is automatically adjusted to match the load.

Out the back, the CR9090 is designed with the Opti-Spread capability of spreading straw the full width of the machine's header.
