Makaze glyphosate herbicide, made by Loveland Products, has received federal registration. The product will be available for use in the 2007 crop season.
The herbicide is a 4-pound IPA salt of glyphosate. According to C-14 studies, Makeze has a quick and complete uptake, which translates to improved performance on tough weeds and, Loveland Products says, a glyphosate for all season.
Makaze will be sold only through authorized United Agri Products distribution locations. Production will begin in 45 days. Makaze will be offered in mini-bulk, bulk, 30-gallon drums, and 2x2.5 gallon package sizes with limited availability.
