BASF announced today that Headline AMP fungicide received full registration from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Headline AMP is a combination fungicide developed for corn growers.
Headline AMP is a combination of the same active ingredient in Headline fungicide with the addition of a triazole. The combination is a broad-spectrum product that offers protection from major disease that can threaten yield and crop quality in corn.
In a statement announcing the label, BASF reports that in replicated trials, Headline AMP offered consistent yield advantages over competitive products, with an 8-bushel-per-acre yield advantage versus other fungicides tested. The product is effect on a wide range of foliar corn diseases including anthracnose, grey leaf spot, Northern corn leaf blight, Southern corn rust and eyespot.
