The National Peanut Board has slated its quarterly Board and committee meetings in Texas to be held in San Antonio April 9-10.
This meeting will include a Grower Summit with an information exchange between members of the National Peanut Board and the Texas Peanut Producers Association.
"Sharing information and ideas with fellow peanut farmers and industry members in the Southwest region is critical for us to do the best job possible for all our growers," says Vic Jordan, chairman of the National Peanut Board and an At-Large delegate. "We have enjoyed a great partnership with the Texas Peanut Producers Association in the past and seek to expand our relationship by finding the best ways to maximize grower economics to the benefit of the entire industry."

The National Peanut Board and committee meeting schedule for Tuesday, April 9, will be as follows:
9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., General Session
10:45 a.m. to 11 a.m., Break
11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Budget & Finance Committee
11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., By-Laws Committee
12 p.m. to 1:15 p.m., Lunch
1:15 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., Promotions Committee
3 p.m., Field Tour of producer area
The meeting schedule for Wednesday, April 10, will be as follows:
8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., Grower Summit, Information Exchange with the Texas Peanut Producers Association
10 a.m. to 10:15 a.m., Break
10:15 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., Grower Committee
10:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Export and International Trade Committee
11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., General Session reconvenes
12:15 p.m. Adjourn
