The new Chopperrr skid-steer attachment mowers from Modern Ag Products are hot-dip galvanized for durability. A cleaner cut
Rhino is launching the new Turbo Series finishing mower line in sizes from 60 to 100 inches wide. The domed deck design improves grass flow and faster blade-tip speeds offer a cleaner cut. The machines feature no-tool cutting height adjustment. Other features include a spring-loaded belt idler for longer belt life, and a flip up gearbox mount for easier belt access. A true zero-turn tractor
Zero-turn mowers are usually pretty familiar with their two-handle control designs, but Cub Cadet will have you rethinking that picture with the new i1000 Time Saver lawn tractors. These consumer-grade machines feature hydraulic power at the rear, and true zero-turn design at the front, but using a steering wheel for easier control. The patented technology offers improved control in a new package. Two models are available. Suggested list price is $3,399 for the 42-inch machine, and $3,899 for the 50-inch model. Offset hitch for tough use
Woods is offering the new DSO1260 mower with a hydraulic offset hitch that allows the user to move the mower from side to side as needed, which is just right for orchard and close-trim applications. There are four new models in the line, but only one - the 10-foot machine shown - with the offset. The machine requires at least 60 horsepower for operation. Handy mower cleaner
Getting the caked on grass off of a mower deck, no matter what the size, could be easier with the new Grassbuster. Revamped bale processor
Haybuster, long known for its Balebuster product line rolls out the new 2564 for 2007. The machine features an improved mainframe with a 3-foot-by-6-foot tub and improved ground clearance. All flat steel components for the machine are laser cut and the new model is 15% heavier than previous models. At the business end, the machine features an improved heavy duty rotor with 40 flails. The new Taarup TA large-square balers from the Kverneland Group are available in two sizes. The TA 6570 OC with a bale size of 31.5 inches by 31.5 inches (end dimension) and the TA 6690 OC with a bale size of 31.5 inches by 48 inches. Both are considered "silage machines" that can handle higher-moisture forage crops. Each features the Opti cut system and a pre-chamber design for better material flow. The machine is a 48-inch by 48-inch fixed chamber round baler that features an integrated bale wrapper too. The idea saves labor and time when baling, according to the company.
