MSU Students Awarded Scholarships

The Michigan Dairy Memorial and Scholarship Foundation give out more than $103,000.

The Michigan Dairy Memorial and Scholarship Foundation Inc. at Michigan State University (MSU) has awarded more than $103,000 in scholarships to 37 MSU students pursuing dairy industry-related programs of study for the 2012-2013 academic year.

The following 10 MSU students earned $3,500 Michigan Dairy Memorial Scholarships:

Kelsey Byars, animal science senior from Webberville
Megan Bush, agribusiness management sophomore from Swartz Creek
Joshua Garver, animal science junior from White Pigeon
Lauren Messing, packaging senior from Bad Axe
Lynn Nagengast, animal science junior from Muskegon
Michael Raterink, agribusiness management senior from Zeeland

Five sophomores majoring in dairy management in the Institute of Agricultural Technology each earned $2,000 scholarships from the Michigan Dairy Memorial and Scholarship Foundation:

Ten first-year students were awarded the Michigan Dairy Memorial and Scholarship Foundation Freshman Scholarships worth $1,500:

The Michigan Dairy Memorial and Scholarship Foundation oversees the largest scholarship program in the MSU College of Agriculture and Natural Resources and one of the largest at MSU.
