John Deere's new Mobile Weather system uses a third party weather sensor connected to the Application Controller 1120 to display real-time weather information, and if you have the GreenStar 3 2630 Display, it will log the data for you.
For systems not including the 2630 monitor, Mobile Weather can store data to be transferred later to farm management software for analysis and record keeping.
Mobile Weather keeps track of wind speed and direction, Delta T, and temperature and relative humidity on both John Deere GreenStar 2 and GreenStar 3 displays.
Mobile Weather can be mounted on any John Deere 4940, 4930, 4830 or 4730 self-propelled sprayers with GreenStar displays. The system can be programmed to warn the operator when weather conditions exceed preset parameters for optimal application.
