As you make your summer plans, consider opportunities to give back to the FFA and agricultural education in Minnesota, says Val Aarsvold, executive director of the Minnesota FFA Foundation.
The FFA promotes and enhances premier leadership, personal growth and career success for today's youth.
*Legacy Club - Donate $1,000 over one to four years. The first 200 donors will receive a Minnesota FFA Foundation commissioned giclee print by Bonnie Mohr. Donations will go to strengthen new and existing FFA chapters across Minnesota.
*FFA Day at the Twins - Join the FFA for a Minnesota Twins game on July 15. Purchase your tickets through this FFA offer, and you can participate in a pregame walking of the field.
*Minnesota FFA Foundation Golf Tournament - Join us on July 26 at Valley View Golf Course, Belle Plaine. This will be a great day of golf, meals and visiting with FFA members. Look for more information on www.mnffafoundation.org.
For more than 58 years, the Foundation has worked to involve and garner support from individuals and businesses so that young people can develop leadership skills and serve their local communities. The future of agriculture in our country depends on individuals who are prepared to lead. The Minnesota FFA Foundation has provided the support needed for agricultural education programs across the state to prepare the next generation of agriculturalists. As a 501(c)3, your donation is tax deductible.
