With the TTX190 and TTX210 McCormick tractors unveiled at the Farm Progress Show in August, two-thirds of McCormick's new line was completed recently at the SunBelt Ag Expo with the unveiling of the TTX230 -- a 213 horsepower Tier 3 machine aimed at challenging planting, harvesting and tillage tasks.

Built on the same platform as its 171 hp. and 198 hp. siblings, the 230 weighs the same 15,983 lbs. but sports the extra 15 hp for higher performance. All of the TTX Series shift through 32X24 transmissions with extra-speed and reverse shuttle (8 power shift speeds) and have both 540 and 1000 RPM powertakeoffs.

The trio moves on 4WD with electrohydraulic engagement and have an 18.5-inch ground clearance. Creature comforts include an all digital control panel, AC/heating/ventilation, and radio fitting facilities.
