Massey Ferguson is rolling out three new specialty tractors equipped with pressurized cabs and air filtration to supply clean cab air for the operator. The system seals out pesticide particles and other contaminants to protect operators during specialty application such as orchard spraying.
With the new cab design air in the cab interior changes every 36 seconds, and filters out 99% of all particles larger than 3 microns. This recirculating air system then takes out 95% of the remaining particles.

Massey Ferguson’s new 5400SA tractors feature special cab styling for better maneuvering through mature fruit orchards, plus an advanced air filtration and pressurized cab air system that keeps interior air clean for the operator.
The new 5400SA tractor series are designed for close-quarter work including spraying fruit tree rows in mature orchards. Narrow body styling, wrap-around fuel tank guards, narrower fenders and horizontal exhaust provide easier maneuverability while minimizing damage to tree branches. Cabs are tapered to fit in tree rows, but have 52.8 square feet of tinted glass for visibility. Rear view mirrors are mounted inside the cab and the tractor height is just 94.1 inches.
The machines are powered by four-cylinder diesel engines that develop 90, 95 and 105 horsepower at the power takeoff. There are two- and four-wheel drive models. The 16-forward and 16-reverse speed transmission features a single right-hand control for quick shifting. A Speedshift feature provides for smoother gear changes under load (it's activated by a button on the gear lever).
The tractors also feature a Category II 3-pout hitch with Electronic Linkage Control that offers precise control of implements. The hydraulic system features 26 gpm flow. And the tractors have a 540/1000 rpm independent PTO. Learn more by visiting MasseyFerguson.com.
