Leica Geosystems, John Deere Sign Licensing Agreement

Software company will supply Deere with products for many new AutoTrac Ready ag tractors.

Leica Geosystems and John Deere have agreed for Leica to develop guidance software for a range of new AutoTrac Ready tractor models directly via the ISOBUS.

The two firms already cooperate on similar projects, but the new agreement extends the range of the relationships, to include the 61R, 62R, 72R, 82R, 83R, 93R, 94R, 94RT, 95R, and 95RT AutoTrac Ready tractors. The agreement also covders future Deere models to be released in 2012 and 2013.
