Landmark Services Cooperative has teamed up with Co-Bank and the Land O'Lakes Inc. Foundation to support the Wisconsin 4-H Foundation by donating $15,000 to the organization. Matching funds by each of the three entities made this donation possible.
The Wisconsin 4-H Foundation was established in 1954 and supports the nearly 100,000 youth who participate in various 4-H activities throughout the state. This donation will be used in a variety of program funding areas including: Youth Leadership Training; Animal Sciences; Science, Technology, Engineering and Math; Scholarships and many other development programs areas.
Every county in the state has 4-H programs that are supported by the Wisconsin 4-H Foundation. Donations such as the one from Landmark, Co-Bank and the Land O'Lakes Inc. Foundation support youth and allow them to have access to the most up-to-date teaching materials, quality leader trainings and pilot programs. Additionally, the donation helps to provide youth the opportunity to travel and have learning sessions they may not otherwise have had chance to.
Landmark Gives Back Program Coordinator, Shannon Horstmeyer, notes, "Landmark, along with some of our valued industry partners, are proud to present this donation to the Wisconsin 4-H Foundation. The 4-H organization truly does great things for the future of our youth, and we are pleased to support their mission of positive development for those members."
