LaForge Offers Front Hitch for Original Magnum

In a back-to-the-future move, LaForge now offers front-hitch systems - including a PTO - for original Magnum series tractors.

Published on: Apr 25, 2013

Even a tractor introduced more than 25 years ago could benefit from an upgrade. At least that's what the folks at LaForge believe. The front-hitch innovators are launching a series of three-point systems that will fit Case IH 7100, 7200 and 8900 series Magnum tractors. They're even including the FrontPower 1000 front-PTO system. Two models of hitches are available: ST 5 with 11,000 pounds of lift capacity, which is a standard front-hitch intended for light applications. HDS with 12,100 pounds of lift capacity is a heavy duty front hitch that includes a reinforcing pushbar structure to protect the tractor. The FrontPower 1000 PTO-system is available in combination with either front hitch. It's designed with wet multi-disk clutch and electro-hydraulic modulation for smoother engagement. It's rated at 180-hp continuous output. You can learn more by calling (800) 422-5636 or by visiting www.fronthitch.com.
