This 13-part series looks at issues ranchers face when using public lands, and ways they're adapting and improving how they manage cattle in those areas.

Since the beginning of 2015 we have been chronicling key issues surrounding public land use, covering a range of issues using the Tongue District of the Bighorn National Forest as a case study.

Writer Robert Waggener took on a big task for 2015, and we don't want Western Farmer-Stockman readers to miss this series. Since January we've been looking at issues surrounding rangelands use and some of the issues producers have brought to the table on the issue.

We're making it easier to find the articles by posting them online, which we'll do going forward for the rest of the series. Just check out the Web Exclusives section every month.
