The new SeedStar XP monitoring system from John Deere puts more real-time information at the fingertips of the planter operator for better seed placement and field efficiency.

The GreenStar 2 compatible SeedStar XP features a full-feature, full-color touch-screen monitor, or it can be integrated with a producer's existing GreenStar 2 display to reduce accessories in the cab. The system is supported by a series of row-unit sensors and downforce sensors configured to the specific model of the planter.

In addition to the original SeedStar 2 monitoring system the XP features seed singulation and space monitoring, row-unit downforce monitoring and adjustment, row-unit ride quality monitoring, overall row-unit and planter performance monitoring, and split-screen applications for planting and guidance.
