Iowa Pork Producers Offer 'We Care' Certification Training

IPPA wants to get all Iowa hog producers certified in the "We Care" initiative's Pork Quality Assurance Plus and Transport Quality Assurance programs.

The Iowa Pork Producers Association is continuing efforts to get all Iowa hog producers certified in the "We Care" responsible pork initiative's Pork Quality Assurance Plus and Transport Quality Assurance programs.

With a goal of having all producers certified by Dec. 31, 2011, the association is sponsoring free certification training sessions. The sessions will be conducted in association with Iowa State University Extension and the Iowa Pork Industry Center. Registration is recommended.
