Dean Campbell, of Coulterville, was reelected chair of the Soy Transportation Coalition board.

Campbell and his wife, Cookie, own a farming operation that includes soybeans, corn, wheat and alfalfa. Campbell currently serves on the Illinois Soybean Association Board of Directors. He is active in the Illinois Farm Bureau, Illinois Corn Growers Association, Illinois Wheat Association and the Illinois Ag Leadership Foundation.

"I appreciate the opportunity to continue working on behalf of fellow soybean producers through my involvement in the Soy Transportation Coalition," Campbell says. "Our transportation challenges in this country are very extensive and complex. However, they increasingly play a role in determining ultimate farmer profitability. It is therefore critical that soybean producers be actively engaged in this issue."

All officers were reelected to the STC board by its Board of Directors at this year's annual meeting in Chicago, including Dennis Feinken of LaMoure, N.D., as vice chair, and Ed Ulch of Solon, Iowa, as secretary-treasurer.
