A newly-designed hopper with multiple angles helps the new Kuhn Axis 50.1 fertilizer spreader move 1,100 pounds of material a minute for a 500 pound per acre working rate at field speeds up to 12 miles per hour.

The slow-rotating agitator in the Axis 50.1 provides a gentle handling of seed and fertilizer, while maintaining a consistent flow of material without plugging. Kuhn's Coaxial Distribution Adjustment, provides an accurate pattern over the entire width of the machine without disc vane adjustments. In addition, the weighing system on the Axis 50.1 automatically adjusts the outlet openings when spreading conditions change for precise application.

Critical components of the 50.1 are made of stainless steel for less corrosion and a longer working life.
