Looking for more information on conservation programs that take land out of row-crop production, financial assistance available to landowners, or the carbon trading program?

To help you understand your options, you should plan to attend a statewide Farm Conservation Programs Telenet from 9 a.m. to noon on February 20 at your local Extension office.

Featured speakers will be from the USDA Farm Service Agency, Illinois Department of Natural Resources, USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, Illinois Environmental Protection Agency, Soil and Water Conservation Society, and the Illinois Department of Agriculture.

Contact your Extension Unit for more information or to pre-register for the teleconference. To ensure that you receive a copy of the handouts, please pre-register by February 13.
