Pheasants Forever will hold its annual National Pheasant Fest & Quail Classic at the Minneapolis Convention Center. The national convention and outdoor tradeshow will mark the Twin Cities-based wildlife habitat conservation organization's 30th anniversary. Pheasants Forever's last national event in Minnesota drew 29,802 attendees in 2008, the largest event in PF history.
Pheasants Forever's National Pheasant Fest & Quail Classic is the country's largest event for landowners, upland hunters, sport dog owners and wildlife habitat conservationists, combining a national outdoor tradeshow, wildlife habitat seminar series, and family event complete with puppies, tractors, shotguns and art.
TRADE SHOW: National Pheasant Fest features over 400 unique exhibitors and over 900 booths displaying hunting gear, wildlife art, taxidermy, habitat equipment, food, dog breed information, tractors, travel information and much more.
One of the highlights for those who own land anywhere in the country is the Landowner Habitat Help Room, presented by Best Buy / Geek Squad. We've made getting your next habitat project started hassle free with free, one-on-one wildlife habitat consultations at National Pheasant Fest. The Landowner Habitat Help Room is designed to give farmers and landowners site-specific information about conservation programs they can implement on their land. Biologists use aerial photography, topography, and soil information to do individual planning. Landowners just need to bring the legal description of their property (township, range, and section). Through a one-on-one consultation with leading wildlife experts, landowners have the opportunity to learn about conservation and habitat options on their land available through federal, state and local programs.
FAMILY ORIENTED: Rudy's Youth Village is one of the many reasons for families to attend National Pheasant Fest offering activities aimed at keeping families entertained, educated and enthusiastic about conservation and the outdoors. This includes archery and air rifle ranges, a casting booth, the immensely popular Laser Shot and a mock pheasant hunt. Rudy's Youth Village showcases PF's No Child Left Indoors® initiative, part of a national movement aimed at getting youth unplugged from electronics and turned on to the outdoors, nature and wildlife.
