Farmers Try To Raise Equity For Pulse Plant

No word yet on how the investor meetings for a pulse processing plant to be built Harrold, S.D., turned out.

The company, called S.D. Pulse Processors, held a series of fund raising meetings in South Dakota last week.

According to press reports, the group is trying to raise $1.5 million in equity.

It hopes to start construction on the 5,000 square foot plant this fall. It would process field peas, lentils and other pulse crops.
