Pulse Processors, held a series of fund raising meetings in South Dakota last week. According to press reports, the group is trying to raise $1.5 million in equity. It hopes to start construction on the 5,000 square foot plant this fall. It would process field peas, lentils and other pulse crops.Field peas would be one of the plants that would be processed in a new farmer-owned plant in South Dakota
