The new Kuhn GMD 2850 TL trailed disk mower is designed for hay producers looking for the benefits of a trailed disk mower, but have a need to work through narrow gates and passageways. With a working width of 8-feet, 10-inches this compact model maintains the same features and benefits of larger machines in the GMD TL Series. That line includes the GMD 3150 TL, GMD 3550 TL and GMD 4040 TL with working widths of 10-ft., 2-in.; 11-ft., 6-in. and 13-ft. respectively.
The new 2850 allows for each hook up so you're into the field faster and it offers better flotation than caddy models and is more maneuverable than similar size models. The new Optidisc cutterbar with differential disk spacing is designed to offer a great cut in a range of conditions. The cutterbar is lubed for its operating life, reducing maintenance requirements. And the mower reduces the tractor's ballast requirement, allowing use with more compact tractors while maintain stability.
