DEF Handling Option Available

Thunder Creek Equipment rolls out entry-level diesel exhaust fluid option for 500-gallon trailer.

Published on: Jul 23, 2013

The rising need for diesel exhaust fluid for new model diesel engines means having the product along when refueling. While that DEF tank doesn't need the same refills as your diesel tank, it will need product eventually. The folks at Thunder Creek, long known for its diesel tanks, are offering a new 40-gallon DEF option for their 500-gallon standard fuel trailer. According to the company, this new addition is just right for operators integrating their first pieces of DEF-consuming equipment.

Suggested list price for the 500-gallon trailer with the 40-gallon DEF option is $13,570. The product gives owners a field-ready solution for diesel and DEF in a package that can easily be hauled by a half-ton pickup. It's a stainless steel tank mounted on the top of the toolbox that connects to Thunder Creek's 2-in-1 DEF pumping system. Using this design operators fill and empty the DEF tank using just one pump, and it eliminates the need to purchase a separate pump.
