Timely planting and favorable weather are teaming up to get those demonstration fields off to a great start for the 2010 show. As you make plans to attend, check out the crop images below in our mini-slide show to see just how it's all coming together in Boone, Iowa.
We're still working out the demonstration schedule, including which days we'll be harvesting that twin-row corn. But you'll want to check back often to keep track of how that crop is doing.

Company seed plots are up and growing. Plots were planted on May 17. During the show, company representatives can step outside their exhibit tent to the plot area making it convenient to show off their genetic traits.

Van Wall Energy constructed a wind turbine on the Farm Progress Show exhibit field. This wind turbine is connected to the electrical grid and providing power to the show grounds.

This field of corn will be used for tuning up machines prior to the Farm Progress Show and sprayer Ride ‘n Drive during the show.
