Crary Fits New Deere Draper Head with Wind System

CWS is now available for JD 640FD Flex Draper Head.

Published on: Mar 27, 2012

The new John Deere 640FD Flex Draper Head can be fitted with the Crary Wind System (CWS), a manifold that blows air across the front of the reel to pick up weather damaged or short crop plants.

The manifold fits the factory reel arm and pushes a rapid stream of air over the cutter bar.

The wind comes from an 8-inch fan and matching aluminum manifold. The installation is powder coated for weather resistance and features 36- and 42-inch long alternating drop tubes.
