High Plains Cotton Extension Specialist Randy Boman, with Texas A&M University, says the federally-funded site is slated to be fully operational Thursday, January 11.

The site includes a search engine, as well as an "ask an expert" feature, and covers cotton planting, weed and insect control, water management, classing and grading, the gamut of cotton interests in the United States.

This year's Beltwide Cotton Conferences are underway in the Opryland Convention Center in Nashville, with more than 2,000 growers, educators, and agri-business personnel participating.
