Hemisphere GPS and AgSync, Inc. have joined hands in a venture to use Hemisphere's real-time web-based asset tracking tool and AgSync's work order management system. HQ Sync offers a broad-based service for agricultural aviation companies.

HQ allows firms to track the position and position-related data of aircraft and other assets such as spotter vehicles and loader trucks. AgSync uses their technology to streamline crop protection and fertilizer application processes. By connecting the two, HQ Sync gives application companies improved communication, application scheduling, state permit reporting, billing, record keeping, regulatory management and asset tracking.

HQ Synch is the product of collaboration between Hemisphere GPS and AgSync, Inc., aimed at using instant data to help aerial application companies make better use of their assets.

Greg Guyette of Hemisphere's Air Business Unit says the combination of efforts will make it possible to create a job from the pickup truck or coffee shop and have it executed by a pilot and the bill sent the same minute the job is finished, complete with thorough statistics of precisely what was done, when and where.
