CHS Foundation Awards Scholarships

Two Kansas State University students among 75 winners for $1,000 scholarships to help further their education in agriculture.

Two Kansas State University students are among 75 winners of $1,000 scholarships from the CHS Foundation. The winners are Carl Alan Clawson of  Englewood, and Lucas Allan Goddard of Penokee.

The CHS Foundation made the awards to college students studying agriculture and high school seniors planning to enroll in college to study ag. The CHS Foundation is the major giving entity of CHS Inc., the nation's leading cooperative, owned by farmers, ranchers and co-ops across the United States.

An independent, external committee selected recipients based on their career goals, essays, extracurricular involvement, transcripts and reference letters. See below for a complete list of high school and two-year college scholarship recipients.
