Calcot Members are Nation Leaders

Calcot Director Clyde Sharp, Roll, Ariz. is Cotton Council International President.

Calcot Director Clyde Sharp, of Roll, Ariz., will serve as 2009 president of Cotton Council International. He was elected at CCI's board meeting as part of National Cotton Council activities at the recent annual meeting.

Re-elected as CCI directors were also Calcot director and Texas producer Cliett A. Lowman, III of Kingsville, Texas, ginner Sid Brough of Edroy, Texas, as well as John Burch, Calcot's vice president of sales.

Sharp was also elected as a state unit officer to NCC, as were Russ Kuhnhenn, ginner, of Glendale, and Bill Brackett, ginner, Buckeye. Calcot field representative Kevin Long, and vice president of warehousing Bob Crume, are among the California state unit officers, with Stan Creelman, manager of Mid-Valley Gin in Tulare the third.

Creelman was also elected as a director to the Council for 2009, joining Paul Bush, vice president of Arizona, Southern California and South Texas, and Jimmy Dodson of Robstown, Texas, on the board.
